I have been working in health and fitness for over 9 years. I've always had a passion for helping others and have constantly found innovative ways to serve - having previously worked in the non-profit sector as well as in student engagement and retention within higher education. Over the last 5 years, you could say I've gone “all in” on health and fitness when I began coaching CrossFit as a Level 1 Trainer in 2015. I loved everything about the methodology - the training, the community, the impact on health & medicine. But what I ultimately fell in love with was everything Crossfit was doing for individuals in terms of lifestyle transformation.
My personal vision in life is to continue seeking out ways to empower other people to realize their own potential. CrossFit is one of those ways I have enjoyed doing this on a daily basis. The "sport" is humbling to us all and does not discriminate. Regardless of your athletic background, your age, your ethnicity, your body type, your personal story - CrossFit has a way of getting real with us, teaching us how to handle adversity, and discovering new skills we never thought we could master. I have invested myself into this field because I have seen firsthand the power of improving someone's overall quality of life through consistently showing up and doing the hard stuff - one day at a time - and I believe that transformation is possible for everyone, regardless of where you're at or where you're starting from.
